Hidden Camera Footage of the Class

Posted in: video |

Monash Kills campaigners took under-cover footage of experiments on living rabbits as part of an undergraduate physiology class. The students were given the option of watching a video instead. At the end of the class, while most students left to get a snack, the rabbits were given an overdose and thrown in a rubbish bin. These experiments must stop.

It makes me sick that this is happening in our very own backyard. Infact I have many friends who attend this university.

I will never understand how people can exploit these beautiful creatures as lifeless means of “medical research”. We have technology and knowledge to reasearch without the cruelty, without any animal exploitation infact.. I do not understand why the cruelty continueos!

I wrote to monash university a while ago, i really should continue to write if this is still happening.

Thankyou so much for being a voice to those who can’t speak.

    Much respect

This is disgusting, all these people are messed up and the people that have performed this or taken part in this should be put in bars or tortured themselves and see how they like it. I threw up from watching this and cannot imagine the suffering these poor animals went through. Im not a violent person but if i ever saw one of these people i would give them a piece of my mind and a good kick in the a$$!! This is so wrong!

It is beyond comprehension why this cruel and utterly unnecessary practice is permitted to continue in a so-called advanced and forward-thinking society. It disgusts me that we human beings are still so arrogant as to think that our petty (and unjustifiable) desires outweigh the dignity and respect that all sentient beings deserve. This practice must be stopped.

sigh. i am SO sick and tired of people looking down on animals; especially small animals! humans are not any better than these animals! we are much more violent, cruel and disgusting! Rabbits, Guinea pigs, all animals are much more humble, meek, kind, loving and gentle than humans!!!!

Animals used in testing are indeed a big and very lucrative business. Most of the tests are completely unnecessary, as new methods of testing without the use of animals abound. I am glad these students brought this cruelty to the attention of the general public and media; otherwise it would still be happening. I hope Monash College discontinues this cruel practice for good. Disgusting!

I was in tears after i saw this video. Thks to everyone involved, especially those who came forward in the first place. At least some students ‘have’ a brain. You have great courage to bring this out. Thks again everyone ;-)
