Monash 50th Anniversary Protest
Over 100 activists and supporters protested outside the National Gallery of Victoria where the Monash University 50th anniversary Gala Dinner was held.
Holding an array of banners, signs and posters, the protesters disrupted the proceedings with whistles, megaphones and a very loud gong!
People attending the dinner were handed leaflets and DVDs featuring undercover footage obtained from the completely unnecessary experiments conducted upon rabbits as part of Physiology class 3171.
Please voice your opposition to this cruel waste of life by sending a pre-written objection email to Monash University.
Monash Uni O Week Protest
Monash Kills campaigners held a visual protest on campus as part of Monash University’s ‘O’ week inductions on February 18, 2008.
Hundreds of DVDs were distributed to the students, containing undercover footage of the rabbits being experimented upon in Physiology Class 3171.
Most students were shocked to learn that live animal experiments were being performed on their campus, and were generally very supportive, wanting to know more about the issues involved.
